Howdy Week is Aggieland’s official welcome for new and returning students and takes place in the days before classes begin at Texas A&M University each semester. Howdy Week is a campus-wide effort of collaboration designed to help connect Aggies to a wide array of activities, organizations and important information to jump start their year in Aggieland!

Tabling: Many organizations will be tabling throughout campus during Howdy Week. Make sure to stop by locations like the Memorial Student Center, Academic Plaza, Sbisa, and more.

Howdy Week is Aggieland's official welcome for new and returning students. Howdy Week is a campus-wide effort of collaboration designed to help connect Aggies to a wide array of activities, organizations and important information to jump start their time in Aggieland.
Howdy Week is designed for all new and returning students of Texas A&M University. Whether you live on-campus, off-campus, this is your first semester or your last, we encourage you to attend events.
The official dates of Howdy Week for the Fall of 2023 are Thursday, August 17th through Tuesday, August 22nd.
The schedule of events will be live in mid-August. You can view the full schedule of events on the Howdy Week website and in the TAMU mobile app.
Howdy Week events take place across all of campus and virtually. Some groups affiliated with Campus Ministries Association host events off-campus in their respective spaces. Check out the schedule of events to find more information about where and when events are hosted.
